Changing your whole cosmetic routine so it’s less reliant on chemicals is a tricky one. The hunt can be long and often painful (as it has been for me). So, to save you some time, I thought I’d share with you 4 of my holy-crap-they-work-so-well favourites:

Waken Mouthcare

I’ve been using Waken toothpaste for a few months now, and it’s probably my favourite toothpaste ever. Not only is it sustainably (and beautifully) packaged in a recycled aluminuim tube, it contains natural ingredients and natural mint flavours.

Anything From Fushi Wellbeing

I’ve used Fushi’s Really Good Muscle & Joints Oil for a while now post vinyasa class if I’m feeling a little sore and it works wonders. But all of their products have won my vote for a while. They’re plastic-free, organic, fresh, and ayurvedic. Perfect for a yogi’s routine.

Mauli Rituals Grow Strong Hair Oil

As I get older and notice the odd grey creeping into my now-loved red locks, I’m prone to take better care of my hair than ever before. And Mauli Rituals Grow Strong Hair Oil has become, well, a bit of a ritual for me. I’ve noticed my hair getting thicker and shinier after using this for a few months. And the smell is divine. In fact, everything I’ve had from Mauli is basically my favourite (and another vote for Ayurvedic skincare).

Evolve Miracle Facial Oil

This is always on my Christmas list. I use this oil from Evolve right after cleansing on an evening, and my skin feels nourished and totally glows. It’s almost fully plastic-free, mostly organic, and 100% natural. I couldn’t love this brand any more.
